Laura Dodson, CPA, is the founding member of Blue Stone Accounting, LLC. She is an Associate member of the American Institute of CPA's (AICPA), Washington State Society of CPA's (WSCPA) and American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA). In addition, she is a Certified ProAdvisor for QuickBooks.

She graduated from Western Washington University in 2000 with a BA in Accounting. In addition, she received a Bookkeeping Certificate Bates Technical College in 1992. Since graduating from Bates Technical College, Laura has had over 16 years of problem solving experience from working at at small, medium, and large companies in the Seattle area. The companies that she has worked at are All Automotive Inc., Keller Supply Company, Medisystems Corporation (now NxStage Medical, Inc.), and Expeditors International of Washington. The combination of the learning the different operating budgets, internal control practices, and the practical knowledge of ' how do I get there from here', has played an important role in the management accounting portion of Blue Stone Accounting, LLC.
